Meet Walter

As the Fetzer Institute's director of partnerships and co-investment strategies, I foster new and deepen existing partnerships with philanthropists and work with them to directly co-invest in organizations rooted in faith, spirituality, and love. Bringing people together and building genuine connections with others brings me joy. I believe it is essential to our spirit, collective healing, and solving complex global issues.

I graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with a Bachelor of Science in Business. Prior to joining Fetzer, I worked to mobilize resources for causes and organizations doing important work in the nonprofit sector, most recently at The Vera Institute of Justice. I call New York City home, but I'm often on a plane chasing sunsets. I deepen my commitment to spirit by practicing daily meditation and prayer, reading on a sandy beach, or training for the next half marathon.
