Meet Candace

In my work as hospitality coordinator, I hope everyone I encounter leaves our interactions feeling seen, heard, and valued. There is something transformative that can happen when we gather to share an experience with others, and I find it incredibly rewarding to see the hours of planning, mapping, and visioning come to life.

I graduated from Western Michigan University with a major in Organizational Communication and minors in Event Management and Gender and Women's Studies. I have a Master of Education in College Student Affairs Leadership from Grand Valley State University, which led to my work with first generation college students just like me. This role allowed me to bring my love for event planning and talent for relationship building together. My work with these students taught me so much about the importance of hospitality.

I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and our two small humans, being active outside, or sitting in a local coffee shop sipping something fancy.
