We all need time to slow down, turn inward and reconnect with our inner Light. As the daylight hours begin to grow shorter at the autumnal equinox, it’s the perfect time to gather and remember our internal Light.

During the weekend, we’ll explore the two essential components of any spiritual path: disentangling from your darkness and moving toward the Light. The retreat will include time for:

  • your body to harvest the benefits of yoga asana, chanting, and breath work
  • your mind to feast on the ancient wisdom of the Vedas and guided meditation
  • your spirit to integrate the two through quiet reflection, journaling and walks in the woods

No experience is necessary.

About the Facilitator

Mary Beth Thomas (E-200 RYT, 500 RYT) has been touching hearts and minds with her gentle yoga and meditation teachings since 2012. She is passionate about making yoga and meditation accessible to everyone, regardless of their physical condition or previous experience. She partnered with Transformations Spirituality Center to offer the Yoga and Center Prayer Retreat for a number of years, but now that Transformations is no longer offering retreats, Mary Beth is pleased to find a home for the retreat at GilChrist.
