Meet Lauren

I am excited to join the Fetzer Institute as a program assistant supporting the Program team. My work experience has been mostly in the field of recreation and environmental education, most notably at the Kalamazoo Nature Center. If I seem familiar, we might have met when I had an owl on my arm. Additionally, I am a seasonal leadership facilitator, who loves working with college students in achieving their social and emotional learning goals through high adventure activities at the Adventure Centre at Pretty Lake Camp. I have a deep love for all animals which has resulted in me having three beagles (Bert, Ernee, and Elmo,) and briefly being a zookeeper. I look forward to combining all of my skills and knowledge with new Fetzer learnings to keep growing and tackle new adventures.
