Meet Anne Cullen

I help develop and strengthen strategic learning at Fetzer, using evaluative thinking to guide decision making. This means setting aside time for reflection about what is working and not working and why this is so. This process—a practice, actually—helps us refine our work and strategies. The great part of my job is that I get to touch every Fetzer project at some point, whether at the planning, implementation, or reflection stage. Learning about our projects and the great work we do is one of the things I love most.

Before working on evaluation and learning in philanthropy, I spent one third of my career in international development project management and one third as an external evaluator.

My husband and two daughters provide endless joy, laughter, and love and give my life great meaning. Lately, we've been spending our time chasing around Luna, a rescue puppy, and the most recent addition to our family.
