Nature Journaling
Time: 15 minutes
Things you will need: A pen and a journal
Find a quiet spot in nature. Whether it’s under the shade of a willow tree, near the banks of a flowing stream, or on a bench in your favorite park – sit in a place where you feel at peace and comfortable. Now close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Next, open your eyes and see the world around you.
To be seen is to be loved – what do you see around you that you love? Observe the slowly moving clouds, the tittering of birds, the gentle flowing wind, the blades of grass swaying in the breeze. Now open your journal and write or draw about what you observe around you, reflecting on how it feels to be quiet and meditative in nature.
We hope this exercise will help you creatively explore the infinite beautiful details of nature and also serve as a record of your spiritual journey.
