Meet Scott
Keeping people happy and well-nourished is our goal in Culinary Services. Every day we cook from scratch using seasonal and local ingredients whenever possible, including an on-site herb garden thanks to our friends in Buildings and Grounds. We are proud to know our local farmers and to serve some of the best-made regional products, like fruit butters, juices, and wines.
I have a master’s degree in English Literature. I have worked as a teacher, insurance claims adjuster, cook, maintenance man, and bowling center manager. I’ve played guitar since I was 12 and perform in a seven-piece blues band. I love to read, swim, travel, and visit art museums.
Food is more than fuel.
