Stocked with Care
People come to Qatar from all over the world in search of work and opportunity, often leaving behind their families, communities, and the comforts of home. For many migrant workers, life in a new country can bring not only financial hardship but also a quiet sense of isolation.
Stocked with Care tells the story of Feed a Friend, a faith-based, volunteer-run charity in Qatar that responds to these needs with compassion and immediacy. While traditional aid can sometimes feel distant or slowed by bureaucracy, Feed a Friend operates through a simple principle: care should reach people when they need it most. Volunteers prepare meals, deliver groceries, stock community fridges, and assemble boxes of essential supplies — offering support without questions, and always with dignity.
Between 2020 and 2025, Feed a Friend distributed more than 10,500 monthly grocery boxes, supporting over 42,000 people.
At its heart, Stocked with Care is a story about the sacredness of care, how feeding someone, helping a stranger, or showing up for a neighbor can restore dignity, connection, and hope.
