A Call to Conscience at the Parliament of the World's Religions
This summer we made a sojourn to the Parliament of the World’s Religions, both as a sponsor and to present our work. Known for being “the birthplace of the interfaith movement,” the Parliament was a perfect setting to be with others who are catalyzing a movement that brings spiritual solutions to societal issues.
The range of ages and traditions we found there—from younger people advocating for planetary wellbeing based on their faiths and religions to elders making a faith-based case for human rights—was electric! This year’s event gathered more than 7,000 people from 95 countries representing 210+ diverse traditions.
The event culminated with a group of leaders, including Fetzer President Bob Boisture, making a call to conscience for more holistic, love-centric systems that support flourishing for all.
