Fetzer Advisory Council on the Humanities
We urge all in the humanities to examine and better understand, from diverse perspectives, the distinct and even perhaps paradoxical representations of love and forgiveness as they affect societies and the individual.
The humanities allow us to explore human constructs--the stories, the ideas, and the words--that help us make sense of our lives and our world. Thus, the academic disciplines that encompass the humanities offer deep insights into myriad topics of importance as we reflect on the trajectory of the human condition.
The Fetzer Advisory Council on the Humanities is one of 16 councils seeking to foster a greater awareness of how love and forgiveness are essential to their sectors.
