Accommodations

Seasons is located on the grounds of the Fetzer Institute. Our overnight guests stay in one of four buildings, each containing six private rooms. Groups convene at the Meeting House, a short walk down an uncovered path from the lodging units. The Meeting House is accessible with room keys at all times. 

Areas of the Fetzer Institute Administration Building available for guest use include the Meditation Room, Fitness Center, Reading Room, Commons, Guest Office, and display areas. 

Rooms are furnished with a queen-size bed, desk, and a reading chair. A clock radio with MP3 Player input, coffee maker, mini-fridge, umbrella, hairdryer, and toiletries are available (no television). Accessible (ADA compliant) rooms are available upon request. 

Due to Michigan law, smoking is prohibited inside all of our buildings. There is a designated outdoor smoking area under the covered portico next to the kitchen at Seasons. If you have questions about these restrictions, please contact your meeting coordinator. 

Wifi, Guest Offices, AV, and Presentations

Wireless access is available in guest rooms and throughout Seasons and the Administration Building. 

The Guest Office adjacent to the Seasons dining room contains a workstation, printer, and copy and fax machine, and is accessible at all times. There are also two PC workstations guests may use inside an office at the rear entrance of the Administration Building (accessible 6 am to 9 pm with your room keys).

We can support a variety of presentations. Please contact your meeting coordinator with your needs at least two weeks prior to arrival. For those planning to give Mac-based presentations, please bring a Macintosh laptop and appropriate video/adapter cable from which to run it.

Limited technical support is available during business hours only. 

Meals

Freshly prepared, wholesome, and healthy meals are served buffet style in our dining rooms. Additional beverages, snacks, and breakfast items are available for you to take from the pantry in the lower level of the Meeting House.

Dress

We recommend layering and casual dress due to Michigan’s varying temperatures. Bring appropriate footwear if you wish to use the wooded paths. A map of the grounds is located on the wall outside the Fitness Center in the administration building.

Guests Messages and Deliveries

Guest rooms are equipped with direct phone lines and voice mail. Messages for guests received during business hours are placed on the table if the Meeting House foyer. After 5 pm or on weekends, nonemergency messages are relayed via voice mail or the security guard. Emergency messages are delivered immediately.

We gladly accept shipments of meeting-related materials, but regret we are not able to handle
personal shipments.

Transportation

From the airport to Seasons: Courtesy Limousine will meet you at the baggage claim area; the driver has your flight details and will monitor delays or schedule changes. From Seasons to the airport: we arrange transportation back to the airport approximately 90 minutes prior to flight time. Please be at the Administration Building front desk 5-10 minutes before you are scheduled to depart. Guests leaving outside business hours are asked to depart from the back entrance (rear parking area).

Arriving During Business Hours

Proceed to the Administration Building front desk where staff will check you in and assist you to your room.

Departing During Business Hours

Proceed to the Administration Building front desk 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled departure to drop your key and await the driver.

Evening and Weekend Arrivals

If you arrive on the weekend or after 5 pm weekdays, proceed to the Seasons Meeting House, where you will find your room keys on the foyer table. Security personnel keeps watch for guests arriving after hours and can escort you to your room and assist with baggage.

Evening and Weekend Departures

Please leave your key on the table in the Meeting House foyer and follow the walkway to the back parking area where Courtesy Limousine will pick you up 5-10 minutes before your scheduled departure.
