Nobel Laureate Shirin Ebadi discusses Archbishop Tutu's powerful sense of humor and his ability to joke even in times of severe hardship. Ebadi believes that winning the Nobel Prize provided Tutu with an opportunity to spread his message of hope and forgiveness throughout the world.
The Fetzer Institute spent time with Nobel Laureate Shirin Ebadi in the summer of 2008 at the Peace Jam¨Ü conference in Los Angeles. Ebadi was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2003 for her efforts toward democracy and human rights.
