Nobel Laureate Shirin Ebadi describes the compassion that she sees in Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Ebadi talks about the wish for her country to be more forgiving of its criminals like Tutu was able to promote in South Africa.
The Fetzer Institute spent time with Nobel Laureate Shirin Ebadi in the summer of 2008 at the Peace Jam¨Ü conference in Los Angeles. Ebadi was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2003 for her efforts toward democracy and human rights.
