Nobel Peace Laureates: Rigoberta Menchu Tum on Desmond Tutu and the Dalai Lama
Nobel Laureate Rigoberta Menchu Tum talks about the joy and enthusiasm that exists when The Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu are together. She explains that they are great teachers who inspire us and teach us to love, to laugh and to play.
The Fetzer Institute spent time with Nobel Laureate Rigoberta Menchu Tum in the summer of 2008 at the Peace Jam conference in Los Angeles. Menchu Tum was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1992 in recognition of her work for social justice and ethno-cultural reconciliation based on respect for the rights of indigenous peoples.
