SoulCollage Retreat

Friday, February 24, 2017  -  Sunday, February 26, 2017

GilChrist Retreat Center 56265 Day Rd Three Rivers , MI

Call forth the midwife of your soul to discover gifts of insight and inspiration as we approach spring! Soul Collage® uses the creative process of cutting and pasting images on cards to access the wisdom we carry in our souls. Our personal interpretation of the images can lead to discovery of the authentic self, to balancing strengths and excesses of our personalities, to gentle and profound healing of inner wounds, and/or to encouragement and inspiration for future life directions. Using SoulCollage® as a spiritual practice integrates mind, body, and spirit and builds community. Whether you are new to SoulCollage® or are experienced creating cards, this retreat offers time and space to creatively explore your inner being and the wisdom and blessings available there.

Anita Smith Buckwalter is a spiritual midwife facilitating the increase of self-awareness and mindfulness of the Divine within. She is a licensed SoulCollage® facilitator, a spiritual director and trainer/supervisor. She studied the Enneagram with Helen Palmer and the Michigan Enneagram Center. Through 40 years of pastoral ministry, Anita has used art, music, dance, and words to enrich worship and create individualized celebrations of life’s transitions. Anita delights in integrating all aspects of her life through the creativity and mystery of the SoulCollage® process.

The cost of $200 includes facilitated programming, two nights’ lodging in a GilChrist cabin and a beginners’ supply pack or equivalent. Participants will check in between 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on February 24 and depart at 3 p.m. on February 26 with the option to extend personal retreat by prior arrangement.
