Fairy Tales: A Jungian Exploration of the Unconscious

Thursday, September 14, 2017  -  Sunday, September 17, 2017

GilChrist Retreat Center 56265 Day Rd Three Rivers , MI

Told in the language of symbols, fairy tales reach and open the deeper layers of our unconscious, stir our emotions, connect us with our imagination, and lead us to discover hidden treasures within our souls. This contemplative retreat offers a unique opportunity to explore the archetypal language of fairy tales while recapturing a sense of mystery and wonderment within ourselves and the world around us. It consists of scheduled group gatherings (two per day) that focus on creative experiential activities and group sharing. Between sessions participants have opportunities for solitude and personal reflection, which might include journaling, doing art, meditating, or walking the beautiful grounds of GilChrist. Except during our designated meeting times participants are asked to maintain silence throughout the retreat.
